:) It's so nice to find everyone including grandparents, children, and friends happy because of winning in the football match... *Inshallah el far7ah etdoom 3alaina"...... It's been so long since the last time we felt so happy... =) Oooh Lylaaaa OooH lylaaa.. Oh lyla ya monta5abna el'3aleeee
It's a lovely morning that brings me optimism and joy. Yesterday I got the chance to see Scarlett, and 2 of my aunts and their children... I have also met an excellent WRITER and her children... I really had fun, because we spent time talking about reading and BOOKS :D It's been so long since the last time I grabbed a new book to read... Maybe because I was too dejected during the last semester... I couldn't tap into my talents, not because I was studying 24 hours! on the contrary, I was a bit careless in terms of studying. However, I could not enjoy the beauty of reading novels and watching movies.
Anyway, yesterday while I was listening to the children... My lil sis said: "Miwicle.. Yesterday we saw a very huge truck.. it was green... and from the back of it, we saw a clear word.. Guess the word?."
I asked: "What was it?"
She replied: "EVERGREEN"
That made me soooooooooo happy, knowing that even children recognize and feel what we like and dislike! I don't know how she managed to understand what the EVERGREEN word means to me...
Then, Scarlett showed up saying: "Do you know.. while I was in the clinic, one of the doctors came to tell me about "The Scarlet Fever Disease"... and while he was saying scarlet fever.. SCARLETT SCARLETT SCARLETT.. I felt that my jaw was dropped thinking how on earth did he manage to know my NICK NAME! :p then, I remembered that he was talking about a fever and not me"
Hehehe.. I remember the first time I called her "Scarlett".. I was reading Gone with the wind and I figured out that Scarlett's character resembels hers.

Talking about books and reading motivated me to re-think of the future and what exactlty I wanna do... I believe that everyone should think of something beneficial+interesting to grant for the sake of people, hoping to gain nothing in return but good reputation and *Thawab* from Allah. Everyone has something unique.... just search for your uniqueness and then re-nourish it... Then think of how you can influence others to get convinced of your CONSTRUCTIVE ideas that are going to benefit your society.
For example, if your major is art or communication and media, PLZ try to spread some beneficial adds that are "ETHICAL" for our society... Adds that leave us ashamed of ourselves when we follow "Globalization" blindly. Think of what we lack and what we need to re-build for the generations. We don't want more viedo clips with half naked women dancing around a local guy... We don't want ads that center around the bodies of women. This is cheap...
If you're a reader............ PLEASE try to read "good" books and then SHARE the reviews of the book to benefit others.... I know many people who never read something ARABIC orrrr ISLAMIC... They only read english books THINKING that they're being open-minded... come on, if you like reading... try to expand your horizons by reading a variety of books... Read something arabic and traditional from time to time... Arabic is so poetic and lyrical... It gives you a sense of belonging in this life and in the HEREAFTER...
If you like T.V and DvDs, please try to make a balance..... How can you spend endless hours watching movies without bothering to increase your knowledge of the prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and his companions stories? get yourself Amr Khaled's DVDS or cassettes and try to listen... If you don't like him.. there are many people who share CONSTRUCTIVE lessons for others.
If you are a successful DOCTOR and well-veiled :) then please don't leave your job and don't feel sad because of the mix environment. It's much better to have you rather than having a doctor who's {mtbarjh}...
Why do I find {elmtbarjat} soooo proud of themselves and they don't feel ashamed at all.. and they emerge in the workplace successfully even though they don't cling onto "FAITH" and "strong roots". Whilst the "Non-mtbarjat" always try to hide and when they talk, they almost shake out of "Fright" even though their roots are so pure, right, and STRONG. I am talking about the majority here and what I see in my university.. I don't know about the rest of you of course... We need good examples of ladies emerging in our society... We need them to reflect the right picture of ISLAM. Actually, I really felt proud and quite happy when I came across Pinkie Winkie's entry.. =) Also, UAEADORABLE made me smile as well...
