I only read Harry Potter, book 1 & I fell in love with it. & oh yeah, I think of reading the other 6 books by J.K Rowling. All what I can say is that THERE IS NO COMPARISON between Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

To me, Harry Potter was an enjoyable fast read...

Lord of the Rings wasn't.. It was slower.

BUT,

The Ring...

Lord of the Rings is indescribable, and well worth all the patience... it is slower, because it is not an easy-peasy fantasy... You, as a reader will spend time wondering about the world of the Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves, Mortal Men, and the Dark Side of the Evil. and of course, the Shire, where you will be introduce to the round-shaped houses.... and the way the hobbits established a very merry and peaceful life.

Meet Pippin & Merry, & you will be more jovial and full of merriment than ever before...

The author who wrote the book was a masterpiece.. He did create a whole new language and new maps... He devoted his adult life only to create such a new fascinating realm...

One cannot deny the beauty of the poems added...

I love Lord of the Rings much more than Harry Potter.. & I think I will always remember Lord of the Rings and I will always wish to re-read it again... to understand it more. to relive with Strider, the King and the whole fellowship of the ring. In fact, I wish to STUDY Lord of the Rings. I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT.

Whereas, I believe, Harry Potter is fashionable.. just like Twilight... We enjoy reading it a at a certain time, & then after a while, we wish to read something else and forget all about it...

It's been so long since the last time I grabbed a new book to read! I was feeling heavy all the time.. a great weight of gloom was settled on my heart... My soul was weary... I couldn't breathe well, & I couldn't enjoy reading... I missed books and I missed reading voraciously... I missed myself being an avid reader... The hunger of wanting to eat books weakened my heart even more... Fortunately, I feel I regained back some of my lost energy to start reading again. Case Closed by Gosho Aoyama, is what I am reading right now... It is very thrilling and cute... As a detective, you've got to handle a serious task.. Of course, your expressions are stern! But how do you expect me to ignore the cuteness of Conan, being shrunk to a 6 years old while still being able to master the art of detection... He is smart. very smart, and he got a very naughty face...
