PM Yesterday will never return...
Miracle's advising herself :P
Whatever happened
yesterday happened in the world of dreams. Today is reality... Those
people I saw and contacted with were just people of dreams.. and today
I am living with the real souls. The mistakes that had been made in
the past are just gone... Be smart and learn from 'em.. Don't ever
repeat them & let yourself grow wiser by penetrating the realm of
knowledge....
It may sound incredulous, but I am not being an avid
reader these days... :(
I love this poem..
You can find the rest of the lines
here,
but still it's not the whole poem.. if you wanna read the whole poem,
you'll have to buy the BOOK. You see, I'm very voracious when it comes
to reading the old arabic poems..
I am really not in the mood of working
on PROJECTS!! I hate to I hate to I hate to.. & I am so upset because
of Ramadan's schedule! yes they tried to make it easy for us,
butttttttttt they didn't decrease the amount of work they planned for
us to have....
George Bernard Shaw said:
"Perhaps
the secret of depression is in allowing yourself to have time for
superfluous thought, especially in whether you're happy or not. Don't
allow such thoughts to creep into your mind; rather, you should remain
steadfast in working. When you apply yourself to a serious
task, your blood will begin to circulate and your mind will be spurred
into action. You'll find that your new life has quickly been
eradicated of anxiety and worrisome thoughts. Work, and do so on a
continual basis; for this is the most inexpensive remedy available on
the face of the earth and is the most effective."
'Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarnee
said:
"Don't grieve over the
vicissitudes of your existence- you cannot escape hardship.
Life, for the most
part, involves work & responsibilities. Happiness is an exception or
only a fleeting phase that comes and goes sporadically. You long for
this life, yet Allah did not want it to be a permanent abode for his
righteous slaves.
If this world were not
a place of trial it would have been free from disease and hardship; it
would have been easy for the best of men: the Messengers. Adam faced
difficulties and troubles until the day he left this world.. Prophet
Nooh's (Noah) own people scoffed and ridiculed him. Prophet Ibraheem
(Abraham) was tested by the fire and by the command of slaughtering
his son. Prophet Y'aqoob (Jacob) was separated from his son and wept
until he lost his sight. Prophet Moosa (Moses) endured the tyranny of
Fir'aun (Pharao) and afterwards the disobedience of his own people.
Prophet 'Eesa (Jesus) was poor. The last of them, Prophet and
Messenger Muhammad patiently endured poverty and the impudence of his
people, and his poignantly felt the loss of one of his favorite uncles
- Hamza, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon all the prophets."
The prophet (pbuh) said:
"This world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the
disbeliever"
And in a
literal sense there are countless examples of the righteous, the
scholars, and the truthful being imprisoned for their beliefs...
