BOOKS YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY

I love MANGO even though it brings me pimples...

The Count Of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas is a
remarkable work of literature that is of outstanding beauty. It leaves
the reader with a positive influence, ensuring that there will always
be a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how the misfortune is
deep and sorrowful.
Alexandre Dumas is a masterpiece who engaged me with
his thrilling story which centered around EDMOND DANTES, the avenger
who was severely wronged by being claimed that he was convicted of
taking part in a serious conspiracy that he had no clue about. The
results of such claims ended him up in a far away dungeon called
Chateau d'If of which he had to spend 14 years in. Suddenly the
ambitious and faithful young man of 19 years old had shuttered
dreams, and the whole world caved in until he thought that God did not
exist any more. Later in the dungeon, he discovered that his neighbor
was and old man named Abbe Faria of whom everyone thought he was mad.
Abbe Faria was a genius who taught DANTES sciences especially
CHEMISTRY, philosophy, languages, the art of fighting, and lessons of
life that helped DANTES to know that the ones who made him be caught
in such a dreadful trap were DANGLARS, Fernard, and Villefort...
Later after Dantes was unleashed in a mysterious way,
yet extremely CLEVER, he started taking his revenge slowly and
unexpectedly, using the names of Sinbad the Sailor, Lord Wilmore, Abbe
Busoni, & The Count of Monte Cristo.
This story is about betrayal and revenge, LOVE.. LOVE..
& LOVE, politics, adventure, history of countries & places, drama, &
much more.
I felt that Alexandre Dumas's story was inspired by
some Christian's beliefs. In short, it resembles the story of the
prophet Joseph *which is also mentioned in our HOLY QURAN*. Joseph was
betrayed by his own brothers who threw him in the well. After several
years, he was locked in a dungeon, because of a crime that he did not
commit. Fortunately, and after years of patience, he had a significant
standing & role in EGYPT.
I'd like to read this book all over again...
I loved Dantes as a character... so noble... & tender
hearted.
& I,
Suffered,
Rejoiced,
& Regretted with him.....
